Student Health Assessments

Students’ health must be assessed each day prior to coming to school. If students are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19, or have in the previous 24 hours, they should stay home and not return to school until they are symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medications. VACCINE REQUIREMENT

All students entering 7th grade are required to have a booster Tdap and a Meningococcal vaccine. The school needs record of these within the first 2 weeks of 7th grade in order for your child to attend school.

2020 BEE WINNERS

The annual spelling bee was held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, in the middle school gym for parents and streamed live online.  Martins Ferry City Schools top three Spelling Bee finishers from left to right are seventh grader Miranda Volan, first place; sixth grader Wyatt Phillips, second place; and fifth grader Mia McCormack, third place.  Both Miranda Volan and Wyatt Phillips will represent the district in the Belmont County Spelling Bee.  Congratulations!
