OHYES 
The Ohio Healthy Youth Environments Survey (OHYES!) is a free, voluntary, web-based survey to collect information that schools and communities can use to access resources to reduce risk behaviors and create healthy and safe community, school and family environments.  Students at MFMS will take the survey on December 9, 2019 at school.  Parents who would like more information or who do NOT wish to grant permission for their student(s) to participate in the survey may complete the form HERE.

principalWe would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Martins Ferry Middle School. We sincerely hope that each of you will find your experience here to be rewarding, exciting and enjoyable. The staff of our school sincerely hopes that you are willing to accept the responsibility that goes along with being a middle school student.

Our school represents high expectations and a cooporative effort for success. You should do your part by attending school regularly, studying, being prepared for school, participating in school activities, accepting responsibility, demonstrating self-discipline and respect for yourself and others.

We are looking forward to the school year. Let's all work together in a team effort to make our school one in which we can be proud.

Attention Parents:
‚ÄčThe Ohio Department of Health mandates the Immunizations necessary for students attending schools in Ohio.  Meningococcal (MCV4) and Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTAP) are New required vaccines for students entering 7th grade starting in the Fall of 2016.  This updated information impacts our current 6th grade students.  Please send updated immunization records to school.



Mrs. Splenda

 Our middle school collected $650 to donate to "Our Daily Food Pantry".  The collection was made in honor of former 5th grade math teacher Mrs. Splenda who suddenly passed away three years ago.

In honor of September being Child Cancer Awareness Month and Leo Zambori, our middle school performed "Script Leo."
